If you hadn't noticed, America is rapidly going down the tubes in large thanks to the complicity of the Congress and the Media.

Our country and communities are divided because the media is nothing but half-truths. There is important information that is being deliberately withheld from the airwaves by ABCNNBCBS, Fox and NPR.

AlaskaFreePress is designed to be a community website, for state and local issues. What we need are citizen journalists to contribute their stories. We need people like you to get the information ball rolling in your community. Do you know someone that was affected by the Exxon oil spill and the last 19yrs that Exxon refused to pay the penalty. Write up their story and post it here.

It is up to us, We the People, to bypass the failed media system, to inform each other, to work towards reclaiming our public airwaves, and eventually our government.
